Puebla de Alcocer welcomes you to a unique Medieval Market, each year the walls of the Castle are decorated, and you can experience different flavors and entertainment. It is organized by the Town Hall and the Casa de Cultura (House of Culture), in collaboration with local craftsmen of the region, as well as various associations, which are set out in several places: crafts, food products and different works that show our traditions of yesteryear.
Held in late September or early October at the weekend. The hours are from morning to evening without interruption. There are local buses that provide access to the Castle.

It’s a great place to enjoy the medieval castle haunted by medieval atmosphere, it has the most diverse stands, live music, pubs, parades and falconry shows. In addition at night there are also theatrical performances in the Weapon Courtyard of the Castle, where medieval scenes are represented and venerable stories about the history of our people are portrayed, which gives the market an added value.
The craftsmen combine their trading activity with culture and music, it’s the atmosphere that is important when showing these activities and ancient and medieval craft shows.
