The museum was opened in 1992 thanks to the sale of antiques from the residents of Puebla de Alcocer. It is located in the old cellars of the Convent of San (Saint) Francisco and is divided into three rooms.
It collects items and pieces related to major historical and cultural periods of the village, focusing on the important legacy that over the centuries, have been left in Puebla de Alcocer. Visitors can enjoy exploring each of the rooms in a peaceful and tranquil environment.
The Museum focuses on the local collections that include, firstly the exhibition of historical and archaeological attributes, and secondly, it shows the ethnographic details of the village.
